Conditions of participation
(1) All healthy, experienced, and well-trained runners who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Each participant assumes full personal responsibility for their own health. They must be aware of the distance and specific characteristics of the event (night, cold, possible snow, rain, wind, elevation) and prepare accordingly. Anyone who has properly registered may participate.
(2) The organizer will inform participants of organizational measures before the start of the event. The instructions of the organizer and its appropriately identified personnel must be strictly followed. In the event of violations that could disrupt the orderly conduct of the event or endanger the safety of other participants, the organizer reserves the right to exclude the respective participant from the event at any time.
Registration
(1) After registration, participants will receive an email with payment instructions for the participation fee. Upon receipt of the participation fee, the organizer will send a registration confirmation with further information about the event.
If the participation fee is not paid on time (by September 18, 2025), the organizer reserves the right to withdraw from the contract by revoking the registration confirmation.
(2) The participation fee is €70 per person.
Disclaimer
(1) By registering, all participants confirm, without further verification by the organizer, that they have the specific prior experience and knowledge specified in Section 1 of the Conditions of Participation. By signing the form during the on-site briefing, all participants agree that their participation is at their own risk and that they are adequately insured against accidents (including those abroad).
(2) Claims for damages by the participant against the organizer, regardless of the legal basis, are excluded. This does not apply if the organizer, its legal representatives, or vicarious agents have acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
(3) The participant agrees to undergo any checks ordered by the organizer.
(4) The participant is fully aware of and accepts the Conditions of Participation and expressly declares that they have fully read, understood, and accepted all rules, regulations, and conditions contained therein.
(5) The organizer assumes no liability for health risks associated with participation in this event. At the start of the event, the participant declares bindingly that there are no health concerns regarding their participation and that their physical fitness level meets the requirements of such an alpine endurance competition. They are responsible for ensuring that they have proper equipment in accordance with the regulations.
(6) The organizer assumes no liability for lost valuables, clothing, or equipment, including during luggage transport (clothing bags, drop bags, etc.).
(7) If the participant or the organizer commissions third parties to assist, e.g., alert emergency services, the resulting costs must be borne by the participant, or the organizer reserves the right to recover any costs incurred from the participant.
(8) It is strongly recommended to take out private international health insurance, which also covers helicopter deployment and repatriation.
Cancellation of the event
1) In the event of cancellation of the event or individual sections of the route due to force majeure (e.g., bad weather, pandemics), non-participation, or abandonment of the race for reasons beyond the organizer’s control, the participant is not entitled to a refund or partial refund of the participation fee, nor to compensation for other damages such as travel or accommodation costs.
(2) If a registered participant does not show up at the start or notifies the organizer of their non-participation in advance, they are not entitled to a refund of the participation fee.
(3) If the originally planned checkpoints cannot be completed for safety reasons, the organizer reserves the right to set alternative checkpoints. The participant is not entitled to a partial refund of the participation fee, nor to compensation for other damages such as travel or accommodation costs.
Use of personal data
(1) By registering, the participant declares that they agree that the data provided in the registration may be recorded for timing, ranking, and results and shared with third parties and for publication on the Internet.
(2) The personal data provided by the participant during registration will be stored and processed only for the purposes of conducting and managing the event. This applies in particular to the data necessary for payment processing. By registering, the participant consents to the storage of the data for this purpose.
(3) The participant agrees that any photos and film recordings taken in connection with their participation in the event may be distributed and published on social media without claim to compensation.
(4) The participant agrees to the publication of their last name, first name, year of birth, and results (rankings and times) in all event-related print media (participant list, results list, etc.) and in all electronic media such as the Internet.
(5) The participant may object to the disclosure and publication of their personal data by contacting the organizer in writing or by email.
(6) By providing the e-mail address, the participant agrees that the organization may use it to send information to him.
