The Challenge

Saturday, 18.10.25 - 10 Lakes - Unsupported Trail Run - Tiroler Zugspitz Arena
Up for a challenge?
The “10 Lakes Challenge”/“8 Lakes Challenge” requires participants to complete checkpoints at mountain lakes in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.
The challenge is unsupported, meaning each runner is responsible for their own supplies during the run.
Length of the “10 Lakes Challenge”: approx. 75km
Length of the “8 Lakes Challenge”: approx. 40km
The checkpoints do not have to be completed in any particular order.
Each participant can decide how they complete the checkpoints and has their own GPS tracker.
The “10 Lakes Challenge” is an unconventional alternative to traditional trail running events. It’s less about the result and more about the sense of community, the fun of the challenge, the love of sport, and our wonderful nature!
